Walking tour of Florence designed for children and grandparents
A fun day to build some memories meant to last for a long time. Parents are not admitted, only invited are grandparents and grandchildren!
Your guide will meet you at your hotel, if it's located downtown, or in a pre-agreed location. We will start our tour with a journey through Florence discovering the most inspiring and fun facts about its history through its most famous citizens. Along the itinerary, we will stop at a workshop and meet an artisan who is going to explain the woodcraft and we will talk about a famous wooden puppet who is originally from this area. Before leaving the workshop, the grandchild will pick a little gift to take home. At this point, it is going to be lunchtime and we will stop in one of the most famous squares of the city to enjoy a nice lunch and get our strength back (included in the tour). After lunch, we will get on a special vehicle, which will take us uphill to San Miniato and the panoramic Michelangelo square. Here your guide will continue the tour and you will have a chance to take some spectacular pictures. We will then get back on our vehicle to get back downtown and end our tour with an amazing and true Italian gelato.
