Special Opening of the English Cemetery in Florence
The English Cemetery in Florence is located in the middle of the avenues that surround the historic city center. It’s in the middle of the traffic, but it’s mostly unknown.
This cemetery was founded in mid 1800 to bury non-catholic and Jewish people that died in Florence during their stay. Here you find the burial place of famous writers, kings, artists and other historic figures like English poetess Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
The extraordinary opening is on April 15th. Details and info here.
